Support us! Break-in at our new Cricklewood shop

26 October 2016
Support us! Break-in at our new Cricklewood shop We have had some sad news from our newly refurbished Cats Protection Shop on Cricklewood Broadway, which was broken in to in the early hours of Monday 23rd October.

The large shop window was completely smashed, along with several of the new shop fittings. Stock has also been damaged and a collection tin was stolen. The cost of the break-in is currently estimated at around £3,000.

It is appalling that charities are being targeted by thieves. All income from this shop supports the costs of caring for the thousands of cats and kittens rehabilitated by Cats Protection every year. We are heartbroken by this news.

Area Retail Manager, Diane Landau, said, "This is a major blow to the shop which has only just reopened. Closure of the shop and the cost of the repairs will impact our fundraising in the North London area significantly.''

We rely on our amazing volunteers and supporters at all times, and during a crisis like the break-in we are constantly grateful for any support we receive.

You can help us raise money to get our shop back on its feet by donating directly to our fundraising page. Click on this link to see more: Just Giving Cricklewood Shop Appeal. Even if you can just help us spread the word by sharing this link, you'd be helping us.

Many thanks!
