Cat Fosterer
Fostering at home directly helping cats and kittens in need, giving them hands on care and working with the Centre and the vets to get them ready for rehoming. You will need to be able to take cats to the vets and Centre weekly. Some cats will need to be given medicine and treatment while in foster care.

Cat Carer
Helping between 9.00am and 11.00am or 15.00pm and 18.00pm (or 17.00 and 20.00 on Wednesday) this role involves assisting the team with cleaning the cat pens, feeding, refreshing water and bedding as necessary. Days are flexible. Candidates will require a good level of physical fitness.

Fundraising Volunteer
From planning, organising, running and participating in events, fundraising is an exciting and rewarding role. Cats Protection relies soley on fundraising to cover its costs. This role is very flexible. For more information click on the link on the left hand side of this page entitled ' Fundraising'

Transport Volunteer
Drivers transport cats between Centres, take them to the vet and take supplies to Fosterers. They may also accompany home visitors to people’s homes. If you have a clean licence we can provide access to a van if necessary. We currently need drivers who are available for at least 3hrs per week, days and times flexible

Enquiries Volunteer
You will be the first point of contact for the general public. It means you can directly help people and cats. You will respond to enquiries by email and phone, liasing with staff for comprehensive support to specific enquires when necessary. 

Home Visitors
You will visit potential and new adopters in their home, providing them with helpful information on basic cat care and the types of cat suitable to their home. You will work closely with staff to identify suitable matches and give advice. We currently need home visitors who are available for at least 3hrs per week, days and times flexible. This will involve some visits on evenings and weekends.
